Cabinet doors for every requirement
Whether found in alcoves, under stairs or as used in fitted kitchens and bedrooms; cabinets offer the perfect opportunity to create clutter free spaces and be more organised. Utility may drive their existence, but as items of furniture, they also add style and structure to the rooms they occupy. In recognising this, the style and design of the cabinet doors becomes important, especially as doors are usually the most prominent part of any cabinet.
Our joiners are experts at making cabinet doors in every possible design, style and size that you can ever need, or imagine. Whether you require doors for a fitted kitchen, bedroom wardrobe or something else; we have all the experience, skills, and expertise needed to make you your perfect cabinet door(s). And because our workshop has a wider joinery capability, we can also create the cabinets themselves and all supporting joinery for your project.
Supporting the work of carpenters and furniture fitters
A significant part of our work making cabinet doors, is to support carpenters and fitters when installing fitted furniture for kitchens and bedrooms. Here we provide the opportunity to use high quality doors with bespoke specifications, at a competitive price. Although it is true that many experienced carpenters could make similar doors themselves, our expertise and setup mean we can usually do things more efficiently and cost effectively. Additionally, we offer the option of supplying the doors primed or fully finished, and in doing so help to create further cost and on-site efficiencies.
Cabinet doors for every type of storage
Our bespoke cabinet doors can be made as ‘in-frame’ units or ‘full overlay’ doors; with the doors made in either a one-piece flush design, or using traditional panel based construction. Both methods can have a wide variety of styling options applied: including decorative grooves and mouldings, and the use of veneers and glazing. This means practically any design and style of cabinet door can be created, for virtually any size of door.
A range of materials can be specified for construction; from cost effective timbers, to those know for their attractive grains, or high stability materials like MDF. Where MDF is specified for a painted cabinet door, we always use a high quality moisture resistant board. Finishes include the use of lacquers and waxes for natural timbers, or paint colour matching via our use of Morrells professional paint system and our in-house spray booth.
Comprehensive joinery for your cabinetry project
As a joinery we specialise in making bespoke doors, but also offer a wider joinery capability to support door projects and other bespoke joinery requirements. This means we can also make everything from the cabinets and draw boxes, to bespoke features like display cabinets, wine racks and butchers blocks. We can also make all the joinery fixtures needed in a fitted furniture project e.g. plinths, scribe, pelmet and end panels etc. And by using our in-house finishing facilities, we can ensure everything works together and matches perfectly.
